So this is why I finally got my blog going. I wanted to participate in the Papertrey Ink blog hop. This is my first time to participate and I am super excited! The challenge was to use one of Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates that PTI carries. I chose to use her new "From the Desk Of'" template because I was making it for my husbands Administrative Assistant for AA day on the 21st. I let my husband pick the colors and he told me not to use flowers. I don't usually let him tell me what to use, but since I was making it as a gift from him, I listened. I love flowers, so it was hard for me to stay away from them. Anyway, I accepted my husbands challenge and this is what his Administrative Assistant ended up with. Not only is this my first blog hop, it is the first time I have used one of Lauren's templates and I LOVE this one! So easy to put together and so much fun to embelish! I know this is not super creative, but I wanted to stick to being simple since this was my first attempt at one of the templates.

I used copic markers to color some of the circles in the umbrella pink, but it is hard to see that in these pictures. I also used a copic marker to color the button! (Thanks for the tip Lauren!)

Thanks for stopping by and have fun tonight!
